Students during a tour for Manufacturing Day

We're looking for families and community members to help us shape the future of workforce readiness at Decatur ISD!

As we continue our commitment to preparing students for success beyond high school, we are excited to introduce the Future-Ready Advisory Committee—a collaborative effort dedicated to strengthening our Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs and College, Career, and Military Readiness (CCMR) initiatives.

This committee will focus on aligning our district’s educational pathways with current trends in the local economy and labor market, ensuring our students graduate with the skills, knowledge, and experiences necessary to thrive in the workforce or postsecondary education. By engaging industry leaders, educators, and community stakeholders, we will identify opportunities to expand career-aligned programs, enhance workforce partnerships, and equip students with real-world experiences that prepare them for high-demand careers.

We are seeking individuals who are passionate about workforce readiness and education to join us in this important work. If you are interested in serving on the Future-Ready Advisory Committee, please complete our form at https://forms.gle/vz3FVwDLdHJPnVRMA by April 10 (Thursday). Your insights and expertise will help shape valuable opportunities for our students and community!
