Riding a school bus is a privilege provided by Decatur Independent School District and should be treated as such. This application form and eligibility and safety guide will help provide a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone who rides the school bus. Parents/guardians, please take the time to read and discuss this important information with your children. Misconduct on the bus or at the bus stop may result in a student losing this privilege. 

During peak registration times it is possible that it might take 2-3 days to process a new application for transportation and get your child into the system.  

You will receive a call detailing your child’s bus, driver, pickup and drop-off times, and where the bus stops near your house. 

Bus service will not start until you have been contacted.
