It is the primary purpose of the Payroll Department at the Decatur Independent School District to prepare, process, and pay employees in a timely and accurate manner as well as ensure that we are in compliance with State and Federal agencies. Payroll provides information to Social Security Administration, Internal Revenue Service (IRS), Texas Teacher Retirement System, and associations. Finally, Payroll ensures that all transactions are recorded and reconciled properly.
