The Decatur ISD Board of Trustees has begun its search for a new Superintendent of Schools. Assisting the Board in the identification of highly qualified candidates is Dr. Karen Rue, Interim Superintendent.

Throughout the search, we've given the Decatur ISD teachers and staff, as well as the local community, opportunities to provide input through a focus group and/or our search survey. These options have allowed our employees and our community to share their thoughts and desires regarding the characteristics of our next superintendent.
